Different hearts. Different strengths. Growing together.
Meet the Kind Heart Kids at the heart of the Growing Kind Hearts Collection. Each character sees the world a little differently—and each is learning that growing doesn’t mean becoming someone else. It means discovering the strengths already inside you.
Meet the Kind Heart Kids

Emma — The Big Thinker
Emma is creative, thoughtful, and full of imagination. She loves drawing, butterflies, flowers, and color, but sometimes her thoughts can become a little too loud. Emma is learning that mistakes are part of growing, that she can be kind to herself, and that even when she cannot choose everything that happens, she can choose what she does next.
Maya — The Quiet Observer
Notice the small things, hear the soft voices.
Maya notices the things other people sometimes miss—when someone feels left out, when a friend needs support, or when a small act of kindness deserves to be noticed. She is thoughtful, empathetic, and a wonderful listener. Maya is learning that being brave does not mean being the loudest person in the room. Sometimes courage is simply finding your voice when you have something important to say.

Harrison — The Curious Questioner
Harrison has questions about almost everything. He loves wondering how things work, investigating new ideas, and making his friends laugh. His curiosity and humor are strengths, and he is learning that there is a time to ask, a time to joke, and sometimes a time to simply listen.

Hudson — The Quiet Teammate
Hudson is Harrison's identical twin, but the two brothers have very different ways of moving through the world. While Harrison is quick to ask questions, Hudson often prefers to watch, listen, and think first. He notices the little things people don't always say out loud and is learning that being quiet can be its own kind of strength.
Dependable, thoughtful, and a loyal friend, Hudson loves baseball—especially catching fly balls—and believes being there for someone doesn't always require having the perfect thing to say. Sometimes simply saving them a spot beside you is enough.
Leo — The Adventurer
Enthusiastic and Full of Energy
Leo is energetic, enthusiastic, and always ready to jump into the next adventure. He loves running, climbing, building, exploring, and trying new things. Leo is learning that his energy is something to celebrate—he just needs to give his brain a chance to catch up with his feet by stopping, thinking, and choosing before he acts.

“Press play to meet me!”
Saylor — The Strong-
Willed Spark
Saylor knows what she wants—and she isn’t shy about saying so! She’s confident, strong-willed, and likes to be in charge, but sometimes her big personality can come out in ways that hurt others. As Saylor grows, she’ll discover that being strong doesn’t have to mean getting your own way—and that kindness can be one of the strongest choices of all.

Mrs. Rose's Class
Meet the Kind Heart Kids
“Press play to meet me!”
Every heart has its own story. Meet the classmates who make Mrs. Rose's classroom such a special place. Some you'll get to know very well, while others may step into the story as the Growing Kind Hearts Collection continues to grow.
Mrs. Rose — The Steady Guide
The steady, caring heart of the classroom who knows that some of the most important lessons aren't written on the board.
Mrs. Rose is the caring teacher at the center of the children's classroom. She knows that some of the most important lessons children learn aren't written on the board. She helps her students understand that mistakes, big feelings, trying again, asking for help, including others, and believing in themselves are all part of growing. Her classroom is a place where children do not have to be perfect—they just have to keep growing.
Growing Together
Emma, Maya, Harrison, Hudson, Leo and Saylor aren't the same—and that's the point. Each brings different strengths, challenges, ideas, and feelings to the classroom. Together, with Mrs. Rose beside them, they're discovering what it means to understand themselves, care for one another, make thoughtful choices, and grow.
